PRODUCT / FRONT DESK
Front desk
Register a patient once, book against each doctor’s real schedule and run the day’s queue from one reception screen.
The problem today
- The same patient ends up in the register twice, under slightly different names.
- Appointments are booked into slots the doctor is not actually sitting.
- Nobody at the desk can say who is next or how the waiting room is moving.
How careOS handles it
Register once, find them again
Each patient gets a hospital patient ID and a lasting UHID. Before saving, careOS checks the mobile number and name for an existing record so reception links the visit instead of creating a duplicate.

A reception board for today
